In Hong Kong, Valentine’s Day is a day to reinforce the love relationship with actions. Usually a guy wants to impress the girl who he loves or admires by sending her a bouquet of roses wrapped with colorful gift paper. The larger bouquet of roses you send to the lady, the more you love her.
I am Wing Sze from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I am here in Willamette University as an exchange student merely for this Spring Semester 2010. I am so excited to be in America as this is the first time for me to come to America. I am looking forward to experiencing as much as I can. I have been here for three weeks already and I have gone through some culture shocks which really surprises me in some aspects.
