The Vagina Monologues at Willamette University!

It feels good to be back in the rush after such a relaxing break! I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to Guatemala over the break and practice my Spanish with some medical translating! I also had ample sun soaking time :-) I hit the ground running here at Willamette. I'm co-producing this year's production of the Vagina Monologues, which raises money for the V Day campaign at Willamette. I'm also proud to be part of an all-star cast; my monologue is titled "the woman who liked to make vaginas happy". The monologue is expanding my comfort zone, as I have to imitate moan 28 moan styles on Willamette University's HUGE STAGE! We normally raise about $4,000 in this fundraiser, but more importantly it is a chance for 25 women to come together and put on an amazing production. The sisterhood felt by the cast is amazing. I'm still very good friends with some of my co-cast members from last year. This weekend we will be going on a retreat and are going to have an amazing time! Look for the Vagina Monologues on the Willamette University homepage calendar! It is going to be AWESOME!
