Reset their Password when they are trying to log in
- Checked the Audio for JAPN 432 class on the Blackboard. It seems to be working fine. I am not sure why some
students were not able to hear it

- a student asked help about his dubbing project. he wanted to put his audio into their group project. it worked!
- spanish class again had some problem with the computer. they just turned off the red button on the side
- i checked the sound system in the classroom, because it was not working before. now is does. Vanny fixed it
- the ForeignFaculty pictures are on the LLC website. (Hristo helped me out :)

- student worked on her spanish project, but she decided to use next door room (WITS)
- the spanish next door had a problem with volume. i am trying to figure out what was wrong.
this girl tried to play a video from the website (some news site), all the volume was on, however, it didn't play.... oh no. Hristo tried to help me.
I'll check again
- i contacted the Russian professor, Mark Conliffe. He asked me if I could check the Blackboard for one of his classes he taught last semester. He wants to use the Blackboard again

- collected as many faculty pictures as i could, they are in the llc drive under Faculty info;
- Put Spanish recorded tape in the closet (it should be recorded);
- talked to Chris about Dreamweaver;
- cleaned around;
- Natalia had a meeting here;
- there was a student who needed help w/powerpoint, basically asked if she could email it to herself and open it up;
- we don't have anymore water in the viewing room

there was a student here who worked in Audacity, he said he spoke as loud as he could, but the volume was very low.
icrease the volume in control panel (or just that little bar on the screen).

today:
- put the movie for the spanish class
they finished watching all of them. i rewinded and put them inside of the bookshelf
- spanish students were asking for an appoitment. they want to meet on Sunday at 7.Kei is on the shift, can you help them with dubbing and recording?
- some other student wants to come tomorrow and work on the span proj.
during Rebekah's shift
- some lady was here and we talked about her blackboard audios, real player is not working for here, she would like to use it
- i talked to Pamella regarding foreign faculty pictures to put on the llc website, she doesn't have that many. so I guess we just have to take some

Thursday:
- Amanda Boyd dropped a yellow folder on some German info, "The German Scene". Natalia told me to put it in the viewing room, where the German movies are. so, if anyone asks it is there
- some lady asked me to help her out with the mp3 file from the Blackboard. what happened, when she tried to open it up, it would open in the TUNES, rather than the REal Player and such.
I helped her out. but it takes a while to go through it, like we had to save a file and than open it.
does anyone know an easy way to open it?

today:
- students asked for headphones
- one student had a problem, when he turned on computer it sounded
like there was someone talking. I thought it was PCTV even though
the program was not running.
so, i just turned on the PCTV and than closed it. it worked.
weird...
- did some printing for Natalia and got some tapes from her, for next
week spanish class. Tuesday and Thursday, spanish class is going to
watch some movies, we will have to put them on for them, since
Blanco Arnejo is not going to be here.

- returned the camera to WITS, Matt left it in the booth
- worked on the World news
- had one of the most wonderful conversations with Natalia

Today:
- I made a file on how to record PCTV programs, stored in:
LLS server > in llc notes folder > PCTV recording
I am trying to use Wiki, to insert pictures, but can't figure out
yet
- worked in Dreamweaver
- needed paper for printer, asked wits upstairs, but they didn't give us much; good for now
- asked the cleaning guy when they vacuum, he did it today
- many headphones were used

- was working in the Dreamweaver a bit
- there were few ladies who needed help. one with her webmail, another with Systeme D (french); she tried to transfer a document into word
- I started collecting pictures of the foreign faculty and put them on llc folder under Faculty pictures
- POPCORN!!!! in the viewing room, yummmmm

-tried to upload some info on PCTV in Wiki, I just have to figure out how to upload the file. does anyone know?
-put Roxio Cd burner in the cabinet, we will need to install it
-copied some info for Natalia, one of the copies in the cabinet
-Kei, I might need to talk to you about the Blog. one of my friends needs to be added

Thursday:
-helped student with spanish, he tried to download a file from the blackboard and listen to it. so we just saved it on his H-drive. it worked.
-figured out how to save file as pdf on the Mac. Miho needs some help with it.Matt is on the shift and he knows about it.
-submitted world news.
-this guy came in and talked about languages for a while. quite interesting. Hristo knows him.
-Dorine, librarian came in and said that she will be at the reception today- world news.

Tuesday:
-the glass shelf is installed, I cleaned inside of the cabinet
-picked up the speakers, they are inside of the cabinet
Can we lock it somehow?
-did some errands for Natalia (printing...)
-one lady stopped buy and asked if she could use our computers to practice Chinese. Of course, she can!
-Japanese class was here, helped Mijo to set up the station.
-put the German poetry website, under culture.
-tried to figure out what went wrong with my website, talked to Mitch
-worked on the world news, need to finish it though.
should I change the poster board of the World News?
-figuring out how to record Russian TV show on the CD. I will figure out later

Hello:
-worked on Russian recordings
-helped Spanish professor, she had some difficulties watching VCR in the classroom. She wanted to watch VCR, for that I just pushed a VCR button and the volume had to be turned on. It worked.
-helped Natalia with printing some things
-worked on a Dreamweaver, some links for Russian page I put earlier, have some space in between. It is in Russian page

Today:
-thanks to Jen, she showed me how to put things on LLC website
I did put some links on the Russian page under Media (some music
sites)
- checked World news, looks good, but I guess there are some viruses
in uploading some pictures, top of the intro (picture of the world
news)
- worked in Photoshop
- recorded Russian TV program
- figured out how to use Skype, online talking, it is so cool. The
girl from Germany was here, and she did talk to someone
- help a student with some Russian
- also, me and Jen tried to tell people not to walk through the classroom door

found some music websites. can I post them on the webpage?
- Was trying to work on my Website,but it is blocked. Apparently,
if we block our Fussers Guide, the personal website gets blocked as
well. That what Chris next door told me. Good to know.
- I also worked on my Blog and found some cool things, such as
template codes.
- The shelf is looking good, but the glass is not installed yet. It
is next to it.

ok,apparently, my blog entry didn't appear from my last shift.
it is no good. I guess in the future I will have to triple check.
so,I worked on Thursday 15th, 9:30-1:00, during that period, there was a politics class - Sammy Basu's class, there was a training seccion on a Dreamweaver. Jo Meyertons was teaching it.
Afterwards, I worked on my own with the Dreamweaver.
