Glasgow

Some thoughts from Glasgow

I'm in Glasgow, quickly typing this up so I have a bit of credit for the internet tomorrow morning when I check out. So far, the biggest thing for me is I really miss my friends. Being independent and by myself is pretty awesome, sure, and I love the fact that I get to spend exactly as long as I want wherever I am. If I want to look at this store, I can, and when I get bored, I just leave.

Still, I really miss not having friends around. The people in this hostel seem a lot less friendly (and concious) than they did in Edinburgh, and I just find myself wishing I had someone to talk to a lot of the times. Even if it was just one friend and in the morning we said "meet at [place] for dinner, see you then," that would be a huge change, and one I would very much like. I miss my friends, and it's not exactly easy to contact them right now, and with having a hard time meeting people in Glasgow, I've been really wanting them here. I figure it'll get better once I get back to Edinburgh (and the more social hostel) and I'll feel really good when I see Maggie, but it's something that's been on my mind recently.

In other news, I saw a necropolis today. That was cool, if not just for the name.

One thing about hostels...if you don't like the crowd that is there, it will change tomorrow.

Maybe at some point I'll get to travel with you and I can be your friend! But I guess that doesn't help much now... MISS YOU!!!!
