Students Send Thanks

Each year students show their appreciation for the scholarships they receive by writing thank you letters and attending the Donor Recognition Luncheon. These scholarships make a Willamette education possible for many students. Kate Harrie’s ’05 letter to the Goudy family is just one example of letters delivered this year.

Established: 1965
Award: $13,000 per student, per year, renewable up to four years
Percentage of tuition covered in 2001: 54%
Total number of scholarship recipients in 2001: 38
This scholarship was established by Elmer Goudy in honor of his wife, Grace (Collins) Goudy ’22, who served on Willamette’s board of trustees.
