Presidential elections outside the US

Today may sound like far away in time, but it’s been only two weeks since the last presidential elections in the United States of America. There are divided feelings within the American people, but how did the media cover this historic election in the rest of the world?

After Barack Obama became the candidate for the Democratic Party many expectations were created around this charismatic leader, maybe expecting that change he kept promising during his campaign.
In Latin America people saw him with hope for change in the United States policies, meanwhile in Europe people focused more on his race, and how different the situation is there. Many political leaders in France or England said that it will take a long time for a change like that in Europe. But in general the opinion towards Obama is widely positive. I hope they don’t get disappointed.
