Name Change

Posted by: esu | October 16, 2015 Comments Off on Name Change |

Hello everyone!!

WU CSA has officially changed its name from Chinese Student Association to Chinese Taiwanese Culture Association (CTCA). While we realize the political differences between China and Taiwan, we are an inclusive community and want to edit our organization’s name to reflect the similar and yet very different cultures we strive to celebrate.

We apologize for the emptiness of this blog page! Over the past 2 months, we’ve already had 2 main events! We’ve hosted the Mid-Autumn Festival on September 27th in Ford Kremer and we’ve recently had a successful bake sale on October 12th.

We will be hosting more events this semester! So please like us on Facebook to get updates on upcoming events 🙂

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving break.

Before the break, we had a get-together and enjoyed eating hot pot together. Many people came and we had a fun time eating and chatting. Thank you to those we came and spent time with us. I hope you all enjoyed the delicious food. There were some people who had to try new food that they’ve never tried before. I really hope it was a fun cultural experience for those who’ve never had hot pot before. Those who’ve had hot pot, I’m sure you ate like king that night 🙂

Happy finals! May the odds be ever in your favor.
