Take a Leap: photo/caption

I took this picture during a week-long road trip I took with friends around the South Island of New Zealand. Not only does it represent some of the beauty this country has to offer, but for me, it represents some of the hurdles I’ve had to overcome to get to the place I wanted to be (in this case, an especially beautiful glacier). With help from friends, we crossed over this flowing stream, jumping from rock to rock to get to the stunning view on the other side. I overcame my fear of crossing over this particular barrier but studying abroad was also a fear that I overcame. I ended up having a great experience that helped me grow and learn to take leaps of faith in life (pun intended).
