Hey all! Ok so for this edition of the World News I have chosen to look at the London 2012 Olympics. The first link is a news report about the fear of terrorists targeting the games.

Although I fully understand that in the world we live in today terrorism plays on the mind of all governments and the vast majority of the population for good reason but I feel that London should still be celebrating that they have been given this fantastic opportunity.

I know that being prepared for such an attack is necessary and important but I don’t think that the news should focus on this aspect. This leads me to my second link, which is the link to the official London 2012 web page, which is thankfully more optimistic, have a look around share in our excitement and enjoy!
