More proposed changes to the British education system

This article is about even more proposed changes to the British education system. If you’re completely unfamiliar with recent debates about the english education system, namely that it is easier for students to pass exams nowadays and that we don’t do as much work as previous generations.
This is something that really annoys me as it’s just not true! English children are among some of the most routinely tested in Europe and an A grade is an A grade; I don’t feel that a student should feel less proud of their achievements because I’m sure to them it wasn’t easy to obtain. Apologies for ranting but this is something that really gets to me; I know the article doesn’t specifically relate to this topic but Tony Blair wants to change the system to make it more academically demanding, when it doesn’t need to be.
